It really doesnt matter where he plays. The dude is a stud he'll do well anywhere. Glad he's a TIGER!

if we use him like florida uses percy harvin, and he never officially takes the position of qb, you will never hear a complaint from me...

things are really looking up

I took the comments from the original poster that he wasn't going to be playing QB at all. Shep hasn't practiced anywhere BUT QB.

i still don't think shep is ever going to be a "real" QB for LSU

He could easily stay at QB and make a real impact there without being the teams pocket passer though. Nothing wrong with having a Pat White playing and getting significant playing time for 3-4 years while having a pocket passer do the same. Will help him stay healthier even.

Maybe he'll help to get it off the ground here.

I disagree. "If you have two QBs you might as well not even have one". We need one guy in the back field. If you want a wrinkle formation, thats fine, but the dual QB is not a good idea, IMO

the damn Texas fans all took this article and said Les is moving Shep too.

Some people on these boards will go with something just to try to be the first to say it. Just like reporters hoping something they say might stick.

LINK

Shep may line up at other positions but he will play qb some like RP did in 07.

Yeah I the he was thinking that way, but like Doc said, and like he always does this time of year, Miles is being vague about who will play where.

I can't wait for the spring game. However, this early in the spring I wouldn't be surprised that RS's field day hitting holes has a good bit to do with the D still getting comfortable with a new system. Our D (and most in the country) has had major trouble with duel threat QB's and I'm really glad they get to go up against one every day. The D will be NASTY this year!

It is, after all, Tojo, so I would assume yes.

I heard Tyler Hanover was going to be our Hail Mary QB for end of game situations. Miles found out he throws a baseball 100 mph from 3rd to 1st.

Having a Pat Whiteesque QB to supplement a true passing QB is not the same as a "duel QB" situation. The running QB is just another RB, with the threat there that he can pass it every blue moon to keep the defense honest.
