Brown also responded to the criticism he's received from the drawn-out decision making process, "So just because people get mad and upset and think that I need attention, it's not like that. I've got to take the time to think about a decision that is going to affect me for the rest of my life. If people have a problem with that, oh well. I don't care because they don't have to get up and go to school every day. They don't have to get up and go to weights and conditioning and do all of that stuff. I'm the one that has to do that. All they have to do is sit back on the couch, eat popcorn, and watch us perform."

Yes, of course we have nothing else in life to do...

He is talking about in relation to his decision, not in relation to your life, and I completely agree with him. Might he be a little more dramatic than others, yes, but this is by far the most important decision he has ever made.

yeah, it's not that big of a deal...and a pretty old quote. I'd prob say worse than that about the people who won't leave me alone and think they know why I'm making the decisions I am.

I wish I could sit on my couch 24/7. That would be great.

I agree, that's not a bad quote in the least.

I vote to excommunicate PeachtreeTiger from the LSU fanbase. This guy is an absolute moron. Who's with me?

Please explain how any of this indicates a bad/negative attitude in any way?

Why should he care what people think?

Then tell me how it's any different than any other 18-19 deciding what college they plan to spend the next 4 years of their life at and live and die in the training room, in class, in the weight room, and on the field for?

Some of you dumb asses are looking for anything to hold against this kid, instead of just being happy that this super athlete and stellar running back in interested in suiting up in purple and gold.

Get off of your fricking high horse....

There's an old saying ... throw a rock in a pack of dogs and the one that gets hit is the one that yelps. Sounds to me that Brown's comments may have struck a nerver with Peachtree Tiger.

BTW ... I see nothing wrong with the comment or the attitude.

i dont know the kid. i know what rivals/sonny give me, but this quote shows the pressure is getting to him. im not aware of another recruit this year(09) who gives the "you dont know what its like to be me" answer. i know his answer isnt really that bad, just very "politically incorrect." he needs to keep his pie hole closed until he makes his decision. i know its a tough one for him, but every other elite recruit made it in time for NSD09- so the longer he drags it out, the more i believe hes trying to sell subcriptions for his mentor

NSD is just the first day of the signing period that you can sign with your prospective university. You do not have to sign that day, and are under no obligation to, but I'm sure the fans and coaches like it more. Bryce Brown may be a total head case, or he may be a good kid that really wants to make sure he makes the right decision. Nobody knows him, and it's a little weird people are slandering him, or putting him on a pedastal based on a few quotes.

Seems like a decent attitude to me...

And he's being generous as to what I eat when I watch football. I usually eat far worse foods then popcorn.
