Argentina existed as a country for about 20 years. Then the British took over the Falklands.

You can find different sources saying different things about who lived there at the time so I won’t get into it.

The Falklands have been British as long as Texas has been Mexico. Giving The Falklands to Argentina would be like giving Texas to Mexico.

The Falklands weren’t dumb enough to continuously import Argentinians generation after generation, so I would say they actually have less of a claim. Luckily the Mexican Americans in Texas don’t seem to have any big dreams of taking the land back…. But what if?

Stand with your British ancestors, and support the UK. Don’t support the Spanish empire. America is a son of Britain and we all owe that we have done to her. If we were a country founded by the Spanish empire we would probably be just like all the other failed Spanish colonial countries.

And I am part Mexican/Spanish, in fact, but this is just the truth….

Normally I would be with you on this but Britain of late has come to be very similar to the failed father, Spain to these failed and lost Spanish colonial countries.

As a Floridian I wouldn’t expect you to get it. Your nation will be filled with Latin Americans long before the floodwaters rise

These days the UK is pretty irrelevant and the USA acts as the torchbearer of the British empire. It is similar with Spain except all of the Spanish world sucks so there isn’t any dominant country. It could be Argentina but I wouldn’t bet on it.

Argentina actually wants to be our ally and is in the process of aligning itself closer to the US government. British government arrests people for online "hate speech" and has cucked their entire country with mass immigration of people who do not align with western values. They also are cowards and are not a good ally anymore. Frick the Brits. They chose this path. Argentina all the way.

What is ironic is that as one of the conditions of helping Britain in WWII was that they set free their empire. Churchill did not want that but he had no choice.

And even more ironic is that the US ended up managing their former empire and the rest of the world.

As Trump might say, we made some bad deals.

Why?

Let the UK defend their own territory.

And if they are too much of a pussy to keep it, then that is a failure of their leadership.

Speak for yourself. I’m waiting on my reparations from them over the Expulsion of the Acadians.

I honestly believe that the UK has a better claim to the island than does Argentina. I just think it's funny that Trump is messing with the UK. "It's not our war." has really back fired on them.

And how long will this last? As long as the other previous Argentine governments?

You and your grandparents and parents have lived a life that all of your Acadian ancestors would kill for. You have found a peaceful place, it isn’t in the freezing cold, and you share a great nation with Anglo Americans that you call your brother.

It’s time to let it go my man.

America is a lot of the reason that the UK, Europe, and the west in general are in the mess they are in. They don’t want to bear any responsibility though.

I really don't think Argentina is interested.

Holding that island looks like all cost with little benefit.

They absolutely are interested. The VP already said “if yall feel British then you should move to Britain”. Which is rather ironic.

Then why is there a Chinese satellite tracking station in Patagonia tracking US Military surveillance satellites?
