The hiatus from this show, and the last season, has left me not really caring much about this show. There isn't a redeemable character to get behind. I'm sure i'll watch it, but it won't take much for me to get bored (like rings of power) and find something else.

I'm sure I will watch but I don't have particularly high hopes.

Pass. Last season was boring.

If reporting is accurate, this season promises to have a lot more action.

I still remember the first teaser for season 2. It ended up being the last scene of season 2

The show has not been nearly as good as it needs to be to survive these breaks.

That said, unless they just try to make it bad on purpose, it almost can’t be bad from this point forward as long as they stick to the story.

They could hardly have less. We had one episode with a cool dragon fight last season, but otherwise, the plot went nowhere.

Well that's a low bar. Last season had zero action

Excited that they cast James Norton for Lord Ormund Hightower. He's such a good actor.

There is a pretty badass battle that should have taken place last season imo that would have progressed the story better. I think the creators even admitted they wanted it last season but held off. This season should start off with a bang if they follow the book.

They always get the best actors.

I liked season 2. It was annoying that the writers' strike and other factors prevented a proper finale, but I enjoy the source material and I know the entire plot, so it's all about adaptation for me.

The rando lesbian kiss was annoying and could be a sign of shitty things to come, though, as is GRRM's alienation from production, so we'll see how it all plays out.

I wasn’t familiar with him, but looked him up because it looked like Dickon Tarley at first to me lol. Norton has a very impressive resume though so he must be good.

He was fantastic in Grantchester. Also was a bright spot in House of Guinness on Netflix. He can play anywhere from a priest to an absolute menace.

I haven’t finished it yet but also been watching him in King and Conqueror (a BBC prediction) on William of Normundy and Harold of Wessex (he plays Harold).

That came out wrong. What i meant is that it won't take me long to lose interest (like rings of power).

Do they have the budget? Seemed like last season the only budget they had was for brooding of the boss women, and Dr. Who getting lost in the castle.

King Aegon, second of his name, would disagree.
