We have the worst pitching staff in the SEC with 2 preseason All-American pitchers and every pitcher except Schmidt has regressed. The catchers are horrible defensively and we also are near the top in base running mistakes in the SEC as well.

That is simply not true.

Jordan yes.

I would make the argument that Jay bears more responsibility for the pitchers struggling this year than Yeskie.

Who were two All-American pitchers?

Our Friday night guy was a relief pitcher.

Did you want to fire them two last year?

When Josh Jordan "goes" it will be to lead a P4 program.

Come on. We have Jake Brown, Evans, Moore, Stanfield, Pearson injured. And that’s just what I can think of without looking.

It’s part of competition but it does affect the results.

If we fire yeskie it will be as dumb as firing Jay Johnson.

He is literally the best pitching coach in college baseball. Only coach in America to go to cws with 4 different programs.
2 time pitching coach of the year.

How about let's not turn on national title winning coaches after 1 down year.

He’s quoting my X blog that I publish. I do it in accordance with a snow cone stand in St. Louis called Ted Drewes.

If he’s the one picking the time to change them and who to go to, I could definitely see that.

He gets too excited about being able to use some guys twice in a weekend that he doesn’t let them eat when they’re throwing well in the first appearance.

It’s extremely rare that any college reliever is going to be good twice in a weekend. And we keep trying to do it with multiple guys every weekend.

It also takes specific body types to be able to do it. Guys that are more tightly wound are better at it because they’re looser the second time. That’s something they look for in the majors, but it’s also older guys who know their body better and only play baseball.

You can talk about the team and coaches (lots to talk about) without stating ignorant facts that are not true.
