Because we're scraping the bottom of the bullpen barrel with half our arms this weekend.

It’s because Yeskie tells them to be wild on purpose. And when they give up hits it’s because he tells them to throw right down the middle

This place will tell you that they are just "missing their spots" and aren't bad pitchers.

Todd Walker (on SEC Network) said Yeskie calls too many sliders.

Well…they kind of are throwing strikes.

That’s the problem, lol.

They can't locate their pitches. They can't locate their pitches because they have poor mechanics. They have poor mechanics because they aren't being taught proper mechanics.

The point is that most college pitchers don't have real command of a slider. You're just asking for the walks and wild pitches to go up.

Gotta look at Yeskie. All of these guys were highly recruited and seemed to have getten worse since they’ve been at LSU

He has proven he is the best pitching coach in college baseball. He only coach in d1 to go to the cws with 4 different programs. National Pitching Coach of the Year twice. Been to 6 cws.

Coaches and programs have shite years. Ucla head coach last year went 19-33 and 9-21 in conf. They are primed for a title this year.

Please explain why these pitchers haven’t developed at all and seem to be getting worse. He seems to be good when he has great pitchers but not so good when he just has good, very highly sought after pitchers

No one on the rant can accurately tell you why. But I can tell you Yeskie is a proven pitching coach. 6 cws... 4 different programs to the cws. That's proven imo.
There are no pitching coaches that can take shite pitchers and make then good. Kade in 2024 and kade in 2025 was a totally different pitcher.

Someone help me understand how LSU pitchers cannot throw strikes yet still lead the nation in strikeouts?

Is there an inverse correlation?

Jay has gotten caught up in that everyone should be 95+ hoping they will learn to throw strikes. Need more 90+ with movement and off speed to fool batters.
