Had an open roster spot and only 5 ILBs on the 90, so not surprising to see them add one.
Might just amount to a camp body, but worth a look.

Good run stopper, played quite a bit more in 2024, maybe due to the new coach. I dont see him in on obvious passing downs. Could be a good situational player.

Really solid addition. Should be a decent rotational piece. Seems to be better against the run than pass which is fine.

Granted, we gave up a 5th (and got a 7th too), and they were judging him on being a top 10 pick. He's worth taking a shot on, but I'm not ready to proclaim he's going to be good here yet.

Yeah he will not have top 10 draft pick expectations here. All he has to do here is be a contributor and that would be enough. He’s essentially our 5th round draft pick

That's how I've been thinking about it.
Wilson is a former top 10 pick who hasn't been BAD, just average.
We got a pick in return too, so I think it was a great trade. Wilson will almost certainly contribute more than anyone we would've got there.
