JJ playing mind games with the pitching staff has these young pitchers really screwed up in the head!

Finally someone agrees, these pitchers are head cases and it’s caused by coaching!!!

I don’t know if he could pitch at Southeastern with that velocity and off speed stuff.

They are never given a chance to work out of jams themselves and gain confidence. All of them have no confidence from the moment they step on the mound

What type pitching coaching causes players to go from good to cant throw strikes? Personally I think these kids have no sacks and when put in a leveraged situation they soil their pants. They need to suck it up and do what they are paid to do, especially if they have any dreams of playing pro ball.

He is on a long list of players who took a step back in 2026. The talk was of him being the Sunday guy. That was eons ago

Just one of several things that you anticipated coming up positive that ended up coming up negative.

Williams wasn't "awesome" last year. But, he was a contributor and flashed at times. It was a pretty good bet that he'd continue his development and take a step forward.

He's gone backwards.

This one is frustrating. The dude has given up like 6 extra base hits in 2 seasons, which is why I’m pretty sure Jay was bringing him in with a lot of people on base, but he can’t throw strikes enough to be effective
