That Little Bird stayed on the ground a long time.

Yes DEVGRU has been training in NOLA, Pearl River and Stennis since before they were even actually commissioned as a unit.

Two years old.
At least.
At least.

A friend of mine in college was on the Reserve boat team that was based out of Stennis back then and I guess still is. He was in the Reserve in New Orleans, heard about it and transferred over. No selection, no nothing. He was just a 20 year old college kid and was doing some pretty high speed shite on weekends. Now the boat guys have their own selection and pipeline so I guess he's retroactively an Operator.

I heard that they are doing some training with the Cajun Navy.

This is the OT, the average poster is a 6'3" 235# Green Team stud that bangs 7 different tens a week.

Can confirm that’s the 160th but that’s not current.
They train in a lot of different cities around the country. Can’t build those buildings on the back 40.

While I get what you’re saying, if someone doesn’t know what a word or acronym means and they don’t take 4 seconds to look it up on their super computer in their phone, then that’s a them problem

He's support. He isn't an operator. Much like a night stalker is support. They are 100% badasses but not operators. SWCC does have their own selection process

So instead of 1 person taking time to type what an acronym is, it’s better to have multiple people taking time to look up what it is.
Very narcissistic.

We just had a thread here on people learning new things on their own or being taught (or a combo of both.)
I for one enjoy seeing a word I’ve never seen/heard and looking it up. Same with historical events to which someone may make a passing reference.
Some people enjoy learning things on their own and some people could do well to learn how to learn things on their own

It’s Navy SEAL team 6. They train with Delta and the baddest MFers on earth, the SAC.

Acronyms are much less well known, can be very niche, and is not a word. Also, acronyms have multiple meanings that are wildly different from one another.

The 122nd ASOS (formerly Pineville) trained trained with them in the past as well.

Maybe they should go train at the mall of Louisiana.
