Their is an alternative view of the 3rd base runner not even coming off the bag so why the throw?

Already on the OT
It’s horrific call and the catcher should never play high school ball again
She is throwing the ball towards the 3rd base dugout . There was no interference that came close to occurring

Pine Prairie vs South Beauregard. Pine Prairie catcher. Total bush league. Supposedly 2nd time this happened in the game. She even moved with the batter to hit her trying to get the runner called out at 3rd for batter interference. The batter had struck out swinging on the pitch.

That was coached, period.
Coach and catcher should be banned

What was that?
But a poorly disguised action of battery couched in a sports environment.
There was no play at 3rd...
Someone ruffled the Catcher's feathers and she brought out her claws.

I like the idea of suspending both the catcher and the coach. Especially if this happened earlier the coach not correcting the behavior makes him responsible and implies he instructed the catcher on the behavior.

They need to change the rule. They're just using the rulebook to their advantage. You can't prove or disprove intent.

She’s done this a few times this season. It’s on purpose

It's hard to prove "intent" when a pitcher purposely hits a batter, but that doesn't stop them from being thrown out of the game if the circumstances strongly suggest it was done on purpose. Generally the determination of "intent" arises from prior actions in the game and/or game situation.
For example, if the game is in the 5th inning, there has been no instances of the teams/players getting angry at one another to that point, and you have a guy at 1st with 1 or 2 outs, it's unlikely a pitcher will purposely hit a batter. Now, if there was a brush up prior to that point between the teams/players, "intent" is more probable.
If it is true that the catcher did this (or attempted to do this) at some point earlier in the game, then it is FAR less likely the throw hitting the batter was just an inadvertent accident. That kind of play is not really one a catcher makes multiple times on accident. If it happened multiple times, then you can bet the catcher is being coached to do it. She may not be being coached to try to hurt the batter. But she's being coached to hit her...without any regard that it could result in serious injury.
If I'm the coach of the purple (blue?) team and this is the second time it's happened to one of my players that game, I'm losing my shite on the opposing coach.

it's fairly provable when she throws it 45 degrees off plane and would have probably sailed over the dugout had it not hit the batter.

Umpires do more with less evidence. Such as ejections for brush back pitches or mouthing off to an umpire
