Can they extend it to the 2021 10R80. Absolute piece of shite and $10k to replace.

I've never owned a Ford.

I had a 2016. Could have been me.

Thankfully I haven't had any issues with mine, yet. 108k miles.

You can get a local shop to put in a rebuilt one with the upgraded drum (the main thing causing most of the issues on the factory transmissions) for $5-6K. Not cheap but better than $10K at the dealer. But you wont get the 3 year warranty, either.

But metal shavings in the engine is good?

Well, I guess there's still time. Rebuilt mine (CDF Drum) at 80k miles at Robinson Bros. Roughly $5500 for the work. Just got it back out the shop at 92k miles. Relearning the ecu to try to get rid of the hard shifts.

I had the CDF drum done, but next step is a replacement. That's the $9-$10k

My 2017 F-150 motor went to shite at 55k miles. Sucks when you planned on driving the truck for 10+ years and 100k miles. I’m in a Sierra now so fingers crossed

The only issue that I've had with the truck so far was a bearing in the differential at 70k miles. full rebuild for $100 with the lifetime powertrain warranty. If the tranny goes out and they don't give me shite about fixing it under warranty I'll drive the truck until it falls apart.

Been hearing about this for years, finally Ford is doing the recall. The V6s they put out in that time period are crap. Need the naturally aspirated V8 as the good Lord intended.

That is a dying breed my friend. GM is the only one holding that rope. I know the 5.0 still exists in the F-150, but for how much longer?

And the coyote is well regarded. To the point of the thread, every one of these trucks has something wrong. I am thankful more and more for my 2010 f150 everyday. Thing ahd been pretty bullet proof sans Louisiana road issues
