Does he tho? Do we know that? I’ve seen him play several times in person and the latter time I saw him it was obvious something wasn’t right. Not just with his play,his delivery, and decision making,but he looked 80 years old every time he picked himself up off the ground. He looked like a 15 year nfl vet getting up after a career of injuries. The guy was hurt. Maybe he doesn’t have the highest ceiling in the world but he was not right

When I saw Nuss first pass against Clemson I said this isn't the Nuss from last year. A freak cyst caused Kelly's firing. Nuss is a good QB.

The 2024 season that everyone uses as proof he was horrid in sec play.
Qb a in sec play - 11 tds 5 ints 61.5% compl 130 qb rating
Qb B in sec play- 13 tds8 int 59% compl 127 qb rating
One of these qbs is Jordan Jefferson in 09 and the other one is Nuss in 24.
Nuss feasted off rent a wins in 2024. 700 passing yards and 8 tds came against 2 rent a wins

I was going to say something similar to this yesterday as unpopular as it to say. Not the Jefferson bit treating nuss like he's some martyr that died for our sins. This team had a ceiling in 25 regardless just move on. We would have loss the same 3 game stretch against good defenses just like we did in 24 with a healthy nuss. Was he injured this year YES. When's he not injured does he still have some mental lapses that needs work YES. Theres nothin wrong with that. I still root for him at the next level like all our guys. But the constant crying like we were robbed of burrow 2.0 by bk is goofy. He's not the first player to have an injury or a coach that's not liked by the fan base. But scapegoating everybody to prop him up like we missed out on a NC season from Joe Montana is getting silly
