Curado 7’2” medium heavy

Basically all around rod setup for all my bass needs. Have 12 of these on deck of boat. All around 4 years old now I believe and only a few eyes here and there with yearly cleanings

Plenty of em but my absolute favorite is my 7’3” medium heavy Cashion Core cranking rod paired with a Diawa Tatula 150. Feels like you’re snatching the soul outta bass when setting hooks.

I have a bunch. My latest is a Kistler 6’9” light medium heavy with a Shimano Metanium. I also bought a 7’3” Kistler Abram’s spinning rod with a Shimano Twin Power 3000 reel.

I have about 40 combo's so that's too many to list off hand. 90% of my rods are Powell Endurances. 90% of my reels are Shimano. Most of my casting reels are Curado K's and M's. I have a couple SLX XT's, an SLX DC, and a Scorpion 24. My spinning reels are Sahara's and Miravel's.

I've been doing this for 30 years. There isn't a better buy in reels than the new Curados's and the SLX XT. They are stand out. The Scorpion is worth it if you feel like waiting for delivery from Japan.
As for rods the Powell Endurances rods are a tremendous deal at $160. They compare to most $200+ rods.

All that said, it's a good time to be buying rods and reels from most of the major brands. Everything is so much better today than it was even 10 years ago.

My favorites are older Bass Pro Qualifiers on Falcon Lowrider MH fast rods. One has a spinnerbait the other a swim jig at all times.
