Bat him 9th I don’t care if he strikes out 4 times the guy brings energy something this team desperately needs.

Jay complains about missing in the portal but took this kid and will barely let him play at all in like 2 seasons, including one where the positions this kid plays are along the weakest on the team.

Let him play or process him for someone you're not afraid to put on the field.

I'll take him wearing the K sombrero if he can just receive the pitch properly and block like a real catcher. That should save an average of one run per game right there.

Don’t understand him not playing somewhere, C or 1B.

Jay sees him as the bullpen catcher.

That’s a valuable spot but I think k he can do more, or at least should be given the opportunity to see if he can do more.

Most bullpen catchers never see the field. Yamin hasn’t played much, but more than a bullpen catcher.

I am all for it. I’m tired of seeing damn near strikes go to the back stop. Our two just let em go, stick the mitt back and get another one.

Yes, that play is meaningless, but in my opinion it shows a lack of pride in the little things.

Don’t understand your fanfare for yamin ! He rarely hits the ball every once in awhile he may hit but he certainly strikes out more than he hits! As far as catching there is a reason he’s not catching more

I've said this considering the blunders at catcher since before sec play started. Yamin should never come out of the game. Somehow the coaches have decided he isnt good enough to be a starter given this season's situation but yet when he catches, it goes silent back there.

I wouldn’t mind this move at all.

It’s about the same ratio as the other 2 catchers.

The glaring difference is Yamin gets on base at a higher rate than anyone else on the team. His batting average is also higher than the other 2 catchers, and is the 2nd highest on the team.

Play him.

Yesterday I sat next to a scout in the stands. He shared quite a bit. But this is what made me shake my head the most. He said our 2 catchers are terrible and Yamin should be the starter. The issue he said, is NIL promises. Most don't understand, is that it isn't just the money they are promising players, but playing time, etc.

He personally knew Coach Jay and said he had all the confidence in the world that we'd back to us by next season. Also said he'd be as frustrated as we are if he were a fan of the Tigers.

A major difference in at bats probably has a lot to do with that. Serna and Arambide both need to be swinging a bat for LSU. I'm not against Yamin playing, but it would have to be at the expense of Braun at this point. Not sure I like that.
