The issue he said, is NIL promises. Most don't understand, is that it isn't just the money they are promising players, but playing time, etc.

We have guys from the portal who are making more in NIL and are on the fricking bench right now. All of them have been benched at some point and the only reason Simpson plays now is because of injuries.

I’m pretty sure if Jay thought Yamin was the answer, he would make a move. One of Bide or Serna likely isn’t getting these supposed promises met right now as it is.

He was actually a scout. I know who he is and his name. A former college player and coach who is now a coach. Man some of you are just miserable on this site.

I don’t get the comments about Yamin as if he’s swinging the bat like Braswell last year. He’s been plenty good enough to hit in this lineup.

Jay has his reasons for not playing Yamin at C, even if we don’t know them, but he has played him at both 1st and in the outfield. I would prefer to see him at 1st this series with Braun in the outfield, as Yamin looked pretty uncomfortable out there in left at State last week. He seemed much more confident playing 1st and Braun has experience playing outfield.

These 2 catchers Arrambide and Serna are the worst defensive catchers I can ever remember at LSU as a tandem. I started watching LSU baseball in the 1980s.
