DD is contributing in other areas besides points but...
Knicks are letting KAT guard him (by just standing in the lane) & this is more of a problem for Hawks than the lack of points.

He finished with 11 assists and 9 Rebs, 3 steals and only 2 TO. Still had the highest +\- of all the Hawks starters.

Judging by his social media posts it seems like he is happy. Wouldn’t that be something if got a ring for doing nothing?

Jose was absolutely exposed as a non-factor in the playoffs the last time we we there. Regular season guy only.

Guards that cant shoot 3s kill playoff team dreams. This isn't regular season anymore.
And Brunson cooked him all game. So the one thing hes supposed to do he couldnt.

Dyson needs to learn how to control the game and impact the floor like what you're seeing from a 41 year old James tonight if he wants his game to work in the playoffs. If shooting and scoring doesn't come, the other parts of his game has to be impactful. But it's not there right now.

23 minutes and 4 points more than Zion has had in his entire career.
These threads are sad and just remind me of how hopeless we really are until Zion gets off the roster.
The truth is Dyson doesn’t really move the the needle one way or another for a team. He can definitely help you win in the regular season. He will be a liability in the playoffs.
But the Dyson trade, like all other moves we’ve made in the last 7 years, are irrelevant until the core problem is dealt with.
Get rid of Zion.
