Here it all is. As may have said, this is a roster construction issue. He didnt hold back much here
Basically said he isnt sure if he can get any of it fixed tomorrow, but he’ll fix it through recruiting and this will never happen again
Definitely rolled the bus over the current group. Which ive never had a problem with doing that

It feels like he is saying he needs to take these PG 10 guys that he has been recruiting and get them on the field early enough so that they don’t transfer out and stop relying on these PG 7&8 guys that transfer from online colleges.

He has recognized the deviation and will fix the deviation...this season? That would be a hard ask
What makes this team look even worse than what they are , are the successes that preceded them.
There is not one facet of strength with this squad to wrap around and this absence is going to make for a longer season of frustration

Jay is great but getting Skenes from Air Force and him turning into the best pitcher on the planet was by and large luck, nobody could've predicted it and I feel like it kind of warped everything after it. Enough transfers from Rhode Island and Grand Canyon.

I don't envy the coaches of today, you almost have to make guarantees to retain players like that and if they don't take the next step, everyone is asking why you didn't go to the portal.

Basically what alot of folks have said here. Your base has to be built from Louisiana. U have to build with that as yiur base and then pick select players from other d1 g4 programs at positions of need. A closer a catcher a starter. But the majority has to come from homegrown kids from Louisiana.
