I think I’ve settled on Porsche as being the sports car I get when I have the funds and room to store it.

What’s the point of the GT3? Unless you are on a track, the Carerra S is faster, has a fatter power curve, and is $100,000 cheaper.

Gt3 only brings bragging rights

Car in the pic looks like Carmine Red, but it's hard to tell.

The cost on alot of these are getting out of hand. My wife has a Macan Turbo which has been awesome but a 911 is now out of reach for most people. Someone is selling a GT3RS here in Metairie for $400k

Better pull the trigger while you’re young enough to enjoy it.

Most of us can’t do them justice once we get past a certain age.

I never was much of a racing glove guy but I’m now completely past wanting anything that can easily kill me.

So a mid ‘60s MB pagoda it’ll be* and I’ll be thrilled with that piece of mobile artwork and not stretch my (or it’s) kinetic limits.

*obviously I can screw up and hurt myself in a SL250 or 280 but I’m not likely to push it very hard

Exclusivity plus I highly imagine that the GT3 S/C faster on a track than the Carrera S. I'd obviously love to have either.

The better comparison is the Boxster RS Spyder which unfortunately is no longer available. I'd probably prefer the RS Sounder over the S/C. I'll never have either.

This will likely be north of half-million out the door.

BTW, the wife unit wants a Macan Turbo. Has yours been good to you?

It's Guards Red. Carmine isn't available unless you go Sonderwunsch for another $50k. I've been playing on their website, lol.

I’m 44 now and just don’t think it would be a good idea to sink that kind of money into a 4th automobile at this time. May change my tune in 4 to 5 years depending on where I’m at financially.
