....who would you choose to be President right now? I'm talking about the 2 major parties only, and I'm including both candidates in the general election from 2000-2024. This list would include:

1) George W. Bush
2) Al Gore
3) John Kerry
4) Barack Obama
5) John McCain
6) Mitt Romney
7) Hillary Clinton
8) Donald Trump
9) Joe Biden
10) Kamala Harris

I'll go first, and make 2 points about this list.

1) The choice is a no-brainer for me. Donald Trump is the only person on this list who didn't come from within the ranks of the corrupt Political Establishment. The rest were/are lifelong members of the Deep State. I will say that Obama rose through the ranks quickly, but imo he's the worst one of anybody on this list, and the list includes war criminal George Bush and a witch named Hillary Clinton.

2) Looking at this list really makes me sad. It's a very pathetic list, and it obviously indicates that the powers-that-be weren't interested in promoting the best and brightest. They simply wanted someone who belonged to their club.

So, who would you choose?

Trump is the best option and everyone knows it. The haters can suck it.

I want the Trump who promised mass deportations, a big beautiful wall that Messico was going to pay for, lock Hillary up, and disengage us from the Middle East.

I guess I should have voted harder.

Trump
Bush

The better question would be to rank all in order of preference and you have to rank all. But people would just rank Trump ten times and then hit "enter" multiple times and include one other name.

Trump has clearly shown that he is the obvious answer imho.

As everybody knows, I like Trump. But even if I didn't like him nearly as much, he could practically be the choice here by default.

Man, the powers-that-be gave us some absolutely TERRIBLE choices.

That's what I was thinking, but they're probably not going to go on record with saying it.

Trump.

I really don't care for any other option with hindsight being what it is. I won't ever vote for a dem so they're all out from the get-go. I voted Bush both times but that wasn't so great. Maybe, maybe if 9/11 doesn't happen the Bush presidency is vastly different with its priorities. I voted for McCain because I saw Obama for what he was. I checked out when Romney ran because he wasn't going to win and it was obvious. Since then it's been Trump.

The tragedy is, while it is DJT as #1 and it isn't even close, sad sack, #Foreverwar George W. Bush is #2.

That is a shitty list, IMHO.

Nobody. Nobody can do 10% of what Trump and his team has done in 15 months. Nobody

For an outsider, he's certainly adapting!

Trump's alleged second-term corruption (a partial list):

-Selling pardons (Google, for example, Changpeng Zhao pardon WLFI)
-Selling non-enforcement by the SEC (Google, for example, Justin Sun WLFI)
-Selling crypto to anonymous buyers for God knows what
-Offering access to the President for the largest holders of his crypto
-Confiscating Venezuelan oil, selling it, and putting the proceeds in an account in Qatar with no details disclosed
-Forming a "Board of Peace" of which he is the lifetime Chairperson, and soliciting donations (including 1.25 Billion from your tax dollars) for funds under the control of the Chairperson
-Suing the government and then settling on behalf of the government, thereby paying himself from taxpayer dollars (e.g. DOJ and IRS lawsuits)
-Helping out Scott Bessent's buddy at Discovery Capital by 1-1 swapping US bonds for Argentinian bonds worth 15 cents on the dollar, at the cost of $60 per American
-Suing media companies with matters before the Federal regulatory agencies, and then settling for millions
-Likely trading the futures markets prior to his Truth Social announcements on tariffs and the Iran war
-Deregulating crypto as his family invests in it
-Extorting law firms for millions in free services with executive orders that violate the first amendment
-Don Jr.'s "Executive Branch" club
-Starting a war with Iran and then forming a family company to manufacture drones, followed by a proposed 100% increase in defense spending
-The Qatari plane
-Kristi Noem's and Corey Lewandowski's funneling of DHS money to themselves via advertising companies
-Misappropriation of inauguration funds
-Numerous individual allegations of pay-to-play ( LINK)
