Seeing this as a new trend. Local bar/icehouse pops up with a big outdoor area including a kids playground and kid activities. WTF?

How about being a parent and not driving your kid around drunk because you can’t grow up. None of these people are ubering as parking lots are full esp day drinkers ‘working from home’ babysitting their kid at a bar.

Be better!

I can't climb monkey bars sober, much less drunk.

It seems way more dangerous to let the kid drive.

Those places are fun. Adults have fun, kids have fun. Win/win.

You are truly the worst troll on this board. You repeat the same 4-5 troll storylines and it’s all you post:

1. How rich you are
2. Your anti work from home thing that you somehow find a way to plug into unrelated topics like this one
3. How you don’t drink and people who do are bad
4. Saying buy a Toyota tundra in any car thread
5. Your anti-insurance troll

Some people can enjoy 1-2 beers while their kids play outside. If a parent wants to get shite faced and put their kids in danger they dont need a bar to accomplish that.

How many drunk parents were driving around, smoking cigs with the windows rolled up, and nobody wearing seatbelts one generation ago?

My favorite spot in Athens is a pizza place with a bar and a sandbox with toys for kids to play in.

I, for one, appreciate a family friendly aesthetic in places of ill repute. Too many are strictly adult-centric.

Even better is a minor league baseball team game but has a bar and a playground on dollar night.

People aren't necessarily drinking to intoxication in this setting.

It's a free place to meet up and let the kids play while you have a beer.

I don't know if you noticed, but fast food restaurants with playgrounds are mostly a thing of the past. That's where the mom's groups in my day used to hang out for free (plus lunch and ice cream).

Was going to say Chuck E Cheese has been around for decades.

Also, kids are out of the house now, but just took my dog to Pub Dog for brunch yesterday. She runs around with other dogs, I have a Bloody Mary. It's a good time for all.

Talk to the women doing mimosa flights during the week that empty out of the restaurant when it's time to get in line for pickup.

I guess it could depend on how drunk I get.

He doesn't realize that none of his trolls are cohesive when considered in the aggregate

Such an awful, awful poster. Deeply unenjoyable human being. 0/10. Strong sell.
