Expecting excellence is what built the LSU brand.

Of course you may not achieve it every year in every sport. But, you should go into every game expecting to win. When you don't win, you should be upset and should analyze what went wrong and make the necessary changes to avoid losing the next one.

If that makes me spoiled, than I am guilty. I'd rather that approach than complacency. Recruits don't come here because LSU won a natty last year, they come to win one this year.

To whom do I send my analysis and game plan when I complete this step?

It's not your job unless you are a coach or a player.

So you are saying that Jay and the players are not upset?

People here are too pigheaded to understand that. Look at that replies. They have every straw man argument u could have. LSU is the premier college baseball program in the country. Equate it to if say Bama or Ohio state followed a MNC year with by being beat by western carolina and being embarrassed by purdue or mississippi state. No one expects LSU to win every single year but we do expect excellence and winning baseball. What Ive seen this year is far from that. The big question is will it correct itself?

how do i make the necessary changes to avoid losing the next one...different hat, drinks, food, group of friends?

If you are an LSU baseball fan you are spoiled bc of the dominance of our program since the 90's...having an off year sucks but I will take the success over the last 35+ years for the occasional bad season.

what is the point of these threads?

do the people that constantly start these threads not believe that the players and coaches agree with the point?

do you think the players and coaches are happy with the outcome of this season so far?

So you are saying you are on the staff at LSU & this is not being done?

I mean, do you see evidence to the contrary?

Evidence that dude is not on staff thereby making his upset analysis meaningless???

Yes. I see it in his low T post about being upset over a baseball game.

The point of this thread is to tell those fans that are upset at the "spoiled" LSU fans to chill out. Everyone should never accept losing as okay.

I’ve seen line up changes
I’ve seen a short leash for pitchers who aren’t getting it done

Do you have evidence that JJ is not doing his job?

You know, for a fact, that he is not going back & reviewing the games, stats, pitching mechanics, all the things a coach looks at after a game, win or lose?

What does not accepting a non elite season look like for a fan? What are you saying the fans should be doing?

Not fighting each other, expressing their disappointment with the outcome, continue to support the team in the next game and if circumstances warrant it, like MBB, put financial pressure on the administration.

Maybe y'all should chill out?

How should I not accept it?

I'm still going to watch and support the team. Are you not?

Everything you said in this reply was reasonable. The point where it can become unreasonable is when individuals consider this necessary. Is it half way through conference play, the season after a 2nd national championship?

Baseball is a mental game; probably moreso than any other sport! It ain't just everybody that can hit a 96 mph fastball!
