What happens if China/Russia gets involved? Or China blockades Taiwan in response?

Surely China is not going to sit back and watch or will they pressure Iran to give in?

Where will they get the oil to sustain a blockade of Taiwan? That would require resources that they don’t have in a large enough supply. Buy it from Russia? They’re using theirs in their war so China can buy it at a premium cost. Then the question is, how long can they sustain the blockade?
If Russia starts selling oil to China, what will Europe be forced to do?
This is exactly how FDR drug Japan in to war with US for WWII. It all started when we cut the oil off to Japan. China will have to dig deep in to their souls and ask if they’re truly ready for that war because we won’t need to put a single ground troop on Chinese soil. All that will need to be done is cut them off from the rest of the world with our navy and air force.

China cannot survive without the US buying their products. China is not ready economically for war with the US.

What happens? We want to play the what happens game? Isn’t that exactly why N Korea gained access to nuclear? Or much more to do with today, what happens if Iran maintains abilities to control the shipping lanes, threaten neighboring countries and finance terrorists, all the while the west says let’s give them money and not upset them.

I don't think you quite understand how much oil it would take for China to maintain a blockade of Taiwan.
And you vastly overestimate the amount of oil Russia can provide to China. Especially while Russia is waging the war with Ukraine.

It doesn’t matter how you slice it, if we fall, everyone falls but especially China. We are the spenders. Everyone wrongly assumes if our economy collapses that everyone else will be fine and we will be replaced.

It’s not like they haven’t been practicing these drills or anything…I didn’t just pull that out of my arse. They have literally been practicing this.
