Assuming this would be LSU's first ever Masters winner?

Toms came close in ‘98. He barely made the cut but shot a 64 on Sunday to finish 6th

Pulling for Burns to pull through. He’s a good golfer, but always seems to struggle in the Majors.
It would be. LSU has only had 2 former players ever win a Golf Major.
Jay Hebert, the 1960 PGA Championship.
David Toms the 2001 PGA Championship.
Only 2 that have ever done it, and they both did it at the PGA Championship. Burns will push the number to 3 either tomorrow or eventually.

318!
What an historic feat this would be, not only for Sam but also for LSU. Tough to gauge and compare with other team sports feats (former Tigers winning Super Bowl, World Series, etc.), but winning the Masters would have to be way up there.

Anybody putting down any bets on Burns today? I'll probably do a little on him to win. May do heavier bets on Top5/Top10

Bet him along with a few others before tourney. Got burns at 100-1. But only bet 10$. Have 3-4 others. The others with chances are Rose and Lowry Bet Lowry live after his ace. Anyway pulling for burns as always

Geaux Sam! You can do it!

Sam played incredibly well yesterday, considering he was in the final group with Rory. Quietly went about his business and shot a 68. Had some incredible par saves. Impressive round.
With him being in the second to last group today, some of the pressure might be taken off and free him up more.
Would love to see Sam put that green jacket on!

He had birdie putt opportunities, but ended up missing them. He never let it get him down though. He was on the flag all day yesterday.

Louisiana’s best golfers always seem to come out of Shreveport/Bossier.

We in south Louisiana tend to play with ice chests in our carts

Burns birdies the first. Tied for the lead at the moment.

Doubled par 5 2 somehow.
Shot tracker said bogey but TV said double.
