I’m pretty sure our government is on board with most of that.

The UAE wouldn’t be directly “ indirectly” criticizing Vance if that was the case.

We should take the UAE’s oil. Much easier pickens than Iran.

This may be so, but you have to start somewhere. With Pakistan's offer to host being agreed to by both sides and the US VP going, it shows the US has an actual desire to attempt to negotiate rather than what is likely to just be performative from the IRGC. When it fails due to the IRGC's unwillingness to bend, the anti-Iranian rhetoric from neighboring countries gains more gravitas which translates to more support for the US (whether that means a return to military strikes, regional diplomatic and economic pressures against Iran from neighbors, etc).

I’m in agreement with what the OP says, but the strait literally borders the geographic peninsula of the UAE. Their lack of presence in Pakistan for these negotiations will not be what would cause them to fail.

They dont like not having a seat, then go attack Iran themselves.
I doubt this Amjad is official. Pay us 36 trillion and we will clean it up more.
The livelihood of UAE luxury hotels tell us they can go behead the Iran frickers blocking the strait.

Hey, if he fails its not due to any deficiency on his part.
Nobody really expects the Iranians to keep to any bargain anyway.

We are clearing the mines with 2 destroyers, then minesweepers.
Israel and UAE OWE US 36 trillion dollars.

JD Vance and the Islamic regime in Iran will fail in Pakistan.
It’s designed to. This is for appearances and buying a little time before we wipe them out for good

This is pretty much where I'm at.
I applaud JD's willingness to take this on, but those stupid MFers are going to hold to their ridiculous demands.
