While I don't necessarily love the idea of these cameras being everywhere and all of us living in a perpetual surveillance state, I'm also not someone who's out here breaking the law or trying to hide anything, and I certainly don't begrudge homeowners like this one for exactly a situation like this.

Obviously, homeowner isn't actually home since he said "there," but were I actually home, now you've got the power of video evidence on your side.

Sit back on the other side of the door with gun locked and loaded. Call the police and let them know they need to haul arse to the house, because the moment this animal breaks in my front door I'm unloading. Absolutely justifiable in Kentucky. We don't play those fricking games. Castle doctrine.

Apparently he actually got inside. Homeowner held him off with a shovel until he calmed down.
