Keep Murray, and send Poole packing for free.

I think they have to move Murray if they want give Fears the keys. I think Fears will be ready to make an big impact in year 2.

Murray is probably their best shot to bring back assets or free up space. God they'll need it to move Poole and Hawkins.

I think we control Murray for one more year and he has a player option thereafter. We aren’t doing anything next year. So unless you plan to extend Murray into his mid 30s, the pelicans should absolutely trade Murray this offseason.

Some young team that needs a leader at PG to take the next step should be all over Murray.

Trade him Way too high of a usage and he plays the position/demands minutes of the one guy that might be good enough to develop into a superstar.

Everyone was slobbering over him when he came back but boy did that cool down in his last 7 or so once those dumbass shots stopped dropping.

Fears as a rookie with limited vision has shown more of a willingness to make those around him better than Murray has his entire time here with what should be veteran vision.

If either of the 2 deserves credit for being a good selfless teammate and developing Fears, it’s hilariously Jordan Poole even though I don’t enjoy watching him play basketball either.

Nah man give me fears and Murray in the back court. Both are willing catch and shoot 3pt guys that can get to the rim. You at least have to see if it can work

We need to keep Murray. Fears can be his backup one more year and he’s also good at the SG spot with Murray at PG.

The two most incompetent front office people in sports are running this franchise.

I have no idea why people are so excited about them trading the few guys on the roster that we know can actually play.

Ok with it either way depending on what the return is. Murray is a mercenary.

It’s all they can cling to with some misguided hope than any change will bring improvement while conveniently forgetting everything Dumars and Weaver do is a disaster.

Ask yourself right now of the playoff contenders, who needs a pg or doesn't have a lead guard?

Detroit - Cunningham
Boston - White
New York - Brunson
Cleveland - Mitchell/Harden
Atlanta - Daniels
Toronto - Quickley
Orlando - Bane/Suggs
Philadelphia - Maxey/Edgecombe
Charlotte - Ball
Miami - Herro
- So in the east, you could argue Toronto, Orlando, and Miami may consider it.

OKC - SGA
San Antonio - Fox/castle/harper
Denver - Murray
LA Lakers - Doncic/James
Houston - Sengun/Sheppard/Durant/Thompson
Minnesota - Edwards/Randle/McDaniels
Phoenix - Booker/Green
LA clippers - Garland/Leonard
Portland - Holiday/avdija/henderson
GS - curry/green/butler
- in the west I can reasonably see Houston and Minnesota considering things since none of them have a true pg. Portland may consider since holiday is 35 and has 2/72mil left (2nd year is a PO), but that could be a move to acquire assets - future picks or young talent quo hasn't developed/change of scenery.

Pelicans have gotten 54 games in 2 years from Murray. Nice.

Torn ACL . That takes a year and maybe more to heal and rehab. I would say he has come back nicely from it.
