British Prime Minister Keir Starmer said he is “fed up” seeing energy bills in the U.K. swing up and down because of actions taken by U.S. President Donald Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The comments, in an interview with ITV News’ Talking Politics podcast dated Thursday, aired as oil prices — which have soared during the U.S.-Israeli war with Iran — fluctuated amid a fragile two-week ceasefire.
“I’m fed up with the fact that families across the country see their bills go up and down on energy, businesses’ bills go up and down on energy, because of the actions of Putin or Trump across the world,” Starmer said.
Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, setting off a yearslong war that has resulted in hundreds of thousands of deaths and roiled the global economy.
If only there was something the UK could do about that.

Starmer should ask Allah to help.

But he’s totally okay with losing British culture.
frick him.

A real leader would fix the problem instead of pointing fingers like a child.

Put a drilling rig where all those windmills are in the North Sea and watch your economy boom, Starmer.
More permanent high paying jobs and more money.

He can call Trump and tell him to stop it. Or he can shut the frick up.

Do something about it.
For once.
For once.

Doesn’t the UK have the highest energy cost in the 1st world because of green laws and refusal to drill the North Sea and a higher tax burden than during ww2?
Your problems are here Keir Stalin.

He should nationalize Shell, let the muzzies take over the headquarters, I’m sure they know how to run an energy company

Theres been a ton of envy lately coming from the UK citizens complaining about the way they’ve used their North Sea leases over the last thirty years versus the $2 trillion sovereign fund Norway has amassed from its applications of the leases.

He can stomp his feet and cry about it.

Starmer is going all jihad on Trump

PM Keir Starmer is only pissed they are being left out ... for the first time in nearly 100 years. Perhaps they can get that one HMS Vengeance moving out of port again. They created this mess
No more.
Susan KoKinda - With three parts:
- What Trump did in Iran - and the war party's reaction.
- JD Vance in Budapest: "Civilization" vs. nihilists
- Trump's call to Artemis II: Taking civilization to the stars
She does one of the best jobs of reading President Trumps language.
She points out it was the British Empire who build the Middle East's 'cockpit of war' .. and how the British Empire is left out of these discussions.

Oh really? He needs to look in the mirror. It is Britain that decided not to approve any more leases in the North Sea. It is Britain which is shutting down its energy sector, placing it more at the mercy of other countries.

Churchill and our CIA are the reason Iran is so fricked now. Making big wholesale changes about societies you don't understand for your own perceived benefit always has unintended consequences. Even decades later. In this case 73 years later.

Ok. Starmer can drill his own oil.

The UK is not a serious country anymore.
Their “opinion” on any matter is irrelevant.
