No one objective thinks Trump is implicated in the Epstein files.
There are significant and real questions as to why his DOJ is pretending there aren’t any associates of Epstein and Maxwell who needed to be investigated and why they attempted to avoid even releasing the files.
It causes him to be perceived as part of what looks like a coverup rather than any involvement in the actual original crimes.
It’s inexplicable because most of the global apparatus that is mortally opposed him is likely implicated in those files if they just looked at it like any other determined FBI investigation would and gives credence to the perception that his WH or people in his DOJ are protecting ties to US and Israeli intelligence.
