Back here on the "neutral" troll sidelines I've noticed something:

There are deep factions on both sides of the political aisle that seemingly don't like Israel. I think the hate skews more *Democrat these days, but the Republicans have their fair share as well.

*What's funny about this is that Jewish Americans predominantly vote Democrat.

Israel foreign policy might be the most "polarizing" gambit in American politics.

Israel is the toxic girlfriend that makes your friends and family turn their backs on you.

Unfortunately people can't separate Israeli govt/lobbyists from the everyday Jew. On both sides.

One side can't/won't separate them out of hate, and the other side won't separate them to fuel that hate for their own benefit.

The average person in the US couldn't show you Israel on a map even if the only countries on that map were the US and Israel.

They just don't care.

Now politicians love them some Israel...on both sides...for their own reasons.

Jewish Americans don’t have nothing to do with Israel

Those reasons being primarily money, with a little bit of religious belief thrown in.

Speak for yourself. Many here who do not like Israel have made it very, very clear that Israel =/= Jews. Not our problem if you were too dense to pick that up.

The Adelsons alone disprove this

The rhetoric on Israel centers around Jewish tropes that outdate every poster here.

You can't separate the two.

More and more I see the opposite is true.
Most people want Ukraine funding to end. Most people know Europe should be funding that if they want it to continue. Most people are disgusted by the overbearing influence of the EU. Most people are disgusted that Britain passed Brexit and British leadership still did the EUs political bidding. Most people are shocked that Europe has chosen to allow European culture to die by inviting lazy skill-free third world trash to invade and rape and stab their way across the landscape. Most people who once dreamed of vacationing in Europe would now rather go to Gatlinburg or Orlando or Yellowstone than brave that schitty self-immolation of a continent.

So, no.

That's not why it's polarizing here.

It's polarizing here because Trumpkins can't abide any questions or criticisms of the war that Trump has chosen and Israel is involved. If Poland was helping Trump they'd make similar attacks on anybody who criticized Poland's influence on our government.

I've come to the conclusion that Israel as a country is at the root of the problem in the Middle East. I think we got played. All our military bases got bombed out, so now we have no leverage in the region. All part of the Greater Israel plan.

And I didn't come to that conclusion lightly. I have a best friend whose dad was in a concentration camp. Still had his tattoos. I dated a Jewish girl for almost a year. I've been to Auschwitz and Dachau and seen the horrors of the genocide and attempts to eradicate them. I've trained in Krav Maga, an Israeli self-defense system, for almost 13 years.

Point of all the above is I think I have a solid perspective of their fears and concerns historically.

But this is different. I think they've devolved into a toxic culture that is at the root of the majority of issues in the Middle East.

I'm sharing this recent video on Israel. If you're struggling with this war like I am, and have an open mind, I think you'd find some disturbing parallels right now.

There have been atrocities, even genocide, committed by both sides. With no hope for peace in the future. It will continue to be like this as long as the extremists among the Palestinians and Iranians want to kill Jews, because Israel will hit back tenfold. And it's not going to change. They must learn to live in peace.

I’m very right and very against Israel having so much influence

I really think any politician influenced by foreign money which would be China, India -H1B scam, or Israel should be ousted and face charges of treason

20 years ago this statement would have been correct

Since the 2006 conflict with Lebanon, Israel has changed it's tactics to intentionally kill mass amounts of civilians in conflicts. It is starting to backfire on them as the world sees the atrocities they're committing.
