As someone who was adopted that was just brutal. You have caused these people nothing but grief for taking you in and raising you. If you watch the video, you will see why.

It amused me when the parents made sure to tell them she's their daughter, but she's adopted. I don't know how cops are able to deal with people like that.

That made me feel more sad than amused because it gave the impression that they never truly viewed her as their daughter.
I’m hoping there’s more to the story and she’s someone they took in later in life and legally adopted rather than someone that the parents raised from birth.
