Shows he has little grasp of what our ancestors built.

I'll go ahead and add him to the growing "neo-con" list, though.

Black Pill - Britannica

quote:

The "black pill" ideology is an extreme offshoot of "red pill" philosophy, primarily adopted by misogynistic online communities, particularly those populated by incels (involuntarily celibate men). This ideology, inspired by the movie The Matrix, suggests that men are sexually oppressed by women and that a man's incel status is predetermined by women's preferences, particularly their physical traits.

Black pill adherents often believe that their perceived rejection is due to biological determinism and women's superficiality, leading to a nihilistic outlook where they feel doomed to rejection regardless of their actions. This worldview is associated with hopelessness and, in some cases, suicidal ideation or encouragement of self-harm or violence. The ideology is rooted in the belief that men are entitled to sex and that feminism has thwarted their romantic or sexual pursuits.

Thats a left wing description of black pill that makes it sound incel-y and depressing.

You can be blacked, own a home, be married or have a gf, be in great shape and have a career as well. I think most black pillers have some or most of these things.

Weird… it’s almost like if you watched the tweet in the OP (or read the transcript) you’d have gotten a direct explanation of what he meant, in context, by the VP.

Instead you did what you did.

Do better.

We may need a new pill color. I don't like the apathy associated with the black pill movement, but like many I'm extremely pessimistic about ever really fixing the federal system of govt in this country. Probably 90% of the federal political class are bought and paid for by whomever and don't care about the people they represent.

So yeah, short-term, I vote against whoever is worse, and that's pretty much always a dem. Long term, I think it's wise to try and chip away at the fed govt's choke hold over so many aspects of American life that they have no business trying to manage. Maybe one day the govt can be reined in to the point that it sucks less, or at least sucks at doing fewer things.

So I dunno. What color is that? How about a turd-colored brown pill? Is that one already taken?

The black pill is nihilism. But in the context of politics, it is the belief that elections are pointless because the political process is so captured by fraud and corruption that voters have no actual ability to effect change in their governments. Government will continue governing the exact same way no matter who you vote for.

This is in contrast to the blue pill (belief in mainstream narratives/progressiveism) and the red pill (belief in alternative narratives and anti-woke ideologies).
