Seeing your political opposites as “cockroaches” is exactly why this country is at an impasse.

“Let us not seek the Republican answer or the Democratic answer, but the right answer. Let us not seek to fix the blame for the past. Let us accept our own responsibility for the future.”

What came first, the vax mandates and threats of getting fired and not allowed into public spaces, the trans the kids movements, the willfully ignoring of immigration laws, the allowance of political violence across the nation, or conservatives seeing their political opposition as real and present dangers that need to be dealt with, not bartered with?

I never said democrats were my political opposites.

Only that political cockroaches never die, and especially the democrat species. Perhaps that’s because republican presidents are older on average?

But thanks for proving my premise.

Term limits and/or age limits please!

No one should be "in power" that won't conceivably live long enough to see the destruction they cause.

"As of 2024 data, U.S. life expectancy is approximately 79 years"...

Cap these screwballs at whatever SS age is.

Also, put a 26yr minimum on all elected offices. Anyone that can't rent a car shouldn't be able to have "power" over the rest of us.

26-67yrs old, no more than half that time spent as an elected official.

Communist atheists sought to undermine the USA. They succeeded by infiltrating women’s movements, academia, and media. Even the Church itself has been compromised.

There must be an ideological shift in the country or it will become an irrelevant puppet state of globalists.

How did that work out for JFK? That's right, he was assassinated.

And JFK got murdered for that POV. He was too moderate. And he and his brother might have had a long run. Instead, we got LBJ, and his “Great Society”, which is the root cause of most of the problems in today’s society. His plan to (his quote) “keep the *iggers down on the plantation” has worked beyond even the most evil of his dreams.

I hope that POS is burning in the fires of Hell.

Term limits sound great when you say it out loud, but I fear term limits would make things worse.

The unelected beaurocrats who really run DC would just wait elected officials out. I feel like voting would mean even less if we had term limits.

Now, maybe if there were a way to hold an elected seat longer than the term limit if you could garner, say 66% of the vote, maybe? I dunno, it's just an idea.

But either way something tells me things would be worse with term limits in place.

In my perfect world, that's another problem needing solving. Make the same rules apply to them?
