Holy Spirit vs God The Father/Jesus question.

My lack of understanding is an issue for me.
I’ll get right to it. Correct me anywhere you like. You cannot offend me, here, as I am ignorant about many things.
The Old Testament is about God, and points to Jesus. The New Testament is about Jesus and I assume fulfills God’s Promise.
But the Holy Spirit is lesser known to me but just as important. There is actually something tugging at me today to not be embarrassed about my lack of knowledge, here.
Today I woke up and thanked Jesus for the perfect life He lived and how The Father sent Him to us to die a horrible death.
It made me think that I leave out the Holy Spirit by mistake. I know the Bible speaks about Him, the Helper. And maybe that term creates a lesser profile(maybe a misnomer from me)of Him to me.
You’ve got The Creator
You’ve got the Savior
Then you’ve got the Helper (not to be grieved….that’s important)
1 Does the Helper get enough notoriety? Are there statues or paintings about the Holy Spirit?
2. Anything wrong with my question?
3. When do you talk to the Holy Spirit?
4. What else am I missing?

It’s an all purpose god, just like the oil.

All one and the same. The Holy Trinity.

This is the way I see it.
God is the creator
Jesus was the human form
Holy Spirit is all around us
God is the creator
Jesus was the human form
Holy Spirit is all around us

It was explained to me, albeit in child-like terms, as an egg. You have the shell, the white, and the yolk. All can be individual parts of the egg used for different purposes. To do so doesn't make each part a separate egg, it's still one.

But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you
Look for a dove
Go look up Pentecost
Pentecost is a major Christian festival celebrated 50 days after Easter (typically in May or June) that commemorates the descent of the Holy Spirit upon the Apostles and other followers of Jesus in Jerusalem. Known as the "Birthday of the Church," it marks the empowering of believers to spread the Gospel, symbolizing the start of the church's global mission.

Nothing wrong with the question as our minds struggle with the complexity of the triune God.
When we speak to God all three are addressed. There's no reason to single out the Spirit.
Go pick up a nice study bible. I use MacArthur and the notes are awesome. Just my preference. In before Squirrel ruins the thread.

Oftentimes depicted as a dove and a rushing wind.
The Holy Spirit is worshipped when one worships the Father and the Son.
The Holy Spirit is God in spirit, as Jesus was God in the flesh. We know this as no one knows the mind/ways of God but God.
He indwells the Believer and is evidence of one's salvation - the New Creation
He guides, directs and empowers the Believer to live our Lord's sanctified life.

Best analogy I've ever heard for the explanation of the trinity is water. It can take the form of ice, liquid, and steam, but its all still H2O
Water, the father the form in normal circumstances.
Ice, the physical embodiment of Christ, you can hold it in your hand.
Steam, the Holy Spirit, you cant always see it, but you are well aware of it and its ability to move you.

The (Abstract/Spiritual) Godhead can be described as having 3 essential aspects. God the Father, The Son (a subordinate/derivative of the Father) and the Holy Spirit (of Truth/“The Word”).
Given the presence of the first two, such creates a dynamic wherein stuff has to happen. It’s kinda like SFP commenting in a thread or Nick Saban showing up in Tiger Stadium with the Tide’s team. The existing elements cause a Boom dynamic.
If a person who has the ability (a proverbial “child of God”) hears a/the Truth, something like when placing dry tender and heat in close proximity WILL happen. IMO it is this axiomatic,‘moving power” that is best described as a Holy Spirit because of the Holy aspect of what results from said “moving power”. Such being all that we witness via our “I Am”. God described Itself as “I Am, the I Am”. Descartes added “I know that I am”.
Those who are able will still see “through a fogged glass “ because we are Spiritual creatures at our core, and we currently exist in an empirical reality universe. Albeit at the blink of an eye, “we may be changed” into the Spirit version wherein we truly exist.
The Holy Spirit with its effectual and moving power is there for those who “have eyes that see and ears that here” and as well those who do not. Jesus is the Savior and Firstborn of our Kind; if you desire to truly know over mere belief ( to the degree possible) then ASK Jesus, and “it will be given “. But like the woman who asked Jesus for healing, He answered “let it be according to your faith “. This ain’t trivial stuff. It is very powerful. Only the most serious will take the leap to ultimate union with God while still in the flesh. Yours Truly not yet, but with what is coming, maybe so.
Good luck with your quest. And God speed.
Thank you Jesus. Very much.

Very timely analogy today.
I like to think of the Holy Spirt as the thing that keeps us focused on God as well as making the right choices now and in the future.

The Persons are of the same substance, equal in majesty. The Son is eternally begotten, subordinate in relation, but not subordinate in substance. Is begotten of the Father but not just a piece of the Father. The Spirit is not referred to as “the Word”—that is the Son.

His purpose is to point you to Jesus, not himself.
John 16:13–14 (ESV)
“When the Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the truth, for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is mine and declare it to you.”
John 15:26 (ESV)
“But when the Helper comes, whom I will send to you from the Father, the Spirit of truth, who proceeds from the Father, he will bear witness about me.”
John 14:26 (ESV)
“But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he will teach you all things and bring to your remembrance all that I have said to you.”

The Trinity was always to me best embodied in we human beings.
I am my father, my mother, and also me. 3 unique beings that together form one unique being.
Others have given great insight, have a joyous Easter Sunday.

Except this isn’t the orthodox view. The Word (i.e., Jesus) is the creator.

Somewhat. It is amazing how many people who probably consider themselves devout orthodox Christians don’t have a thorough understanding of something so fundamental like the trinity.
