Never. Why expose them to shite music?

Do they actually like the band/music? If so, then I'd take them at whatever age. Yes, they'll see some weird shite and be around people doing drugs, but you can also insulate them from some of that by not hanging out in the lot and just going straight into the show.
If you want them to experience the lot scene and such, then I'd probably wait until 14-15 years old. That's old enough that they've probably been exposed to a lot of shite online already, so it's not going to just corrupt them and might actually provide some good opportunities to talk to them about drug use and life choices.
We took our sons to a Dead and Co. show when they were 15 and 17. I'm glad we did, as they were super into the music already, and it was a great experience to have as a family. Neither of them have turned into raving drug addicts (so far). My youngest (18 now) still wants to go to a Phish show with me, even though he's way more into traditional country music now.

I've always made it a point to introduce my kids to see live music. Took my son to see Ozzy, KISS, and Alice Cooper when he was 10-12 yrs old. Took my daughter to see Morrissey and Dead & Co when she was 8 and 15 years old, respectively. Their musical tastes differ from mine, but they both go to live shows several times a year. Taking them to see Brit Floyd in July.

Never. Unless it was punishment for misbehaving.

When you are in your 60s.

I'd make sure the kid was a fan of Phish before bringing him to a show like that.
Jam bands would be a long torture of a night for someone not into that style of music.

I take my Daughter age 7 to whatever I’m going to as long as she can get in. We listen in the car so I know she likes it. Hoping to go to widespread in Birmingham but not sure if we are. As long as your ok of the child wants to leave any age they can get in.

My wife and I had this exact conversation a few weeks ago. My opinion is it’s fine but my kid would be bored other than the light show.

I’m not a parent but I’d say about 15 or so, depending on maturity and personality
Like another poster said, good opportunity to point at people and say “hey, you don’t want to end up like that guy.”

Was on the lawn for a phish show about 5 years ago. A couple next to us brought what appeared to be their teenage kids and maybe a couple of the teen’s friends. You could count on one hand the number of times any of them looked up from their phones. They were bored to tears

But that can go both ways, if there's a hot girl with "that guy" then the kid may actually want to be "that guy".
