Even this is on mid-term elections, does anybody have a successful way of stopping all those campaign flyers from the mail?

I did write "return to sender" on 1 & the post office said I needed to pay for postage to return the stuff I didn't ask for to begin with.

Take your mailbox down and throw it in the trash. You won’t get any more political mail.

You get a new phone number. Otherwise they will find you and you will never get rid of them.

Impossible to stop - I used to own a direct mail company and I would laugh at people that got mad and raised hell about “being taken off the list”

Seriously, I laughed- one person gave me a bad google and BBB review - took a week to have them removed- the way mailers work, postage rates are lower whe you saturate a zip code, so taking someone off the list would cost more money - A LOT more money

Back then, it was 16 cents vs 27 cents per parcel

On a 50K or 100K mailer - that’s a lot of cash

My attitude about it was “frick them, they can throw it away if they don’t want it”

I’m a capitalist, and that is still my attitude about it

Don’t care if I get downvotes - a pissy little bitch that does not want a solicitation mailer is not worth thousands of dollars - sorry you’re annoyed, actually, not sorry - quit bitching, throw it away (and if you’re a liberal shitbag, comfort yourself that it’s better for the landfill)

It amazes me what people let themselves get hyped up and upset about…

I log the phone numbers that call and text me. Months after they stop I call those numbers after midnight. Every once in a while an actual person answers. Those brief conversations are fun for me but I’m guessing they are not enjoyable for them.

How about the fricking text messages? I text back with frick off, and I get this "You have been removed from our list bs" I guess it works.

I hate that some letters look like legitimate business that I need to address. Nope. It’s an advertisement. People that do this should be in stocks in the front of the courthouse for people to throw rotten vegetables at.

Haven’t received any of those.

But do get a bunch of junk E-Mail that my E-Mail program won’t block the address.
(Then again, they slightly change address & keep on:

SpamAddress1@email.com, SpamAddress2@email.com, SpamAddress3@email.com, etc.)

Not necessarily…I just got my 1st IPhone after moving, now have a local #, & get spam texts from total random things.

# must be on a list that was sold.

But I thought we had a say about our phone #’s/E-Mail addresses, no?

But look at it like this: why should you constantly get stuff you’ve never asked for nor wanted?

Is that okay by you just because someone else is making a profit?

Or do you feel like you should have a say in stopping that?
