The facts surrounding baseball program

In the ever evolving landscape of college athletics having financial support is crucial to your team’s ability to retain and acquire new talent. The teams that are going to be successful in retaining the best talent in the portal and from high school ranks are going to spend the most money.
With all of that being said LSU is in the middle of the pack now in regards to NIL money for baseball. A major shift and what teams are committing has taken place.
Jay is having to work overtime in the off-season in order to lock down funds. Meanwhile his program is on pace to be a more current version of the run that skipp went on.
I’m hopeful that the new administration would give adequate resources and help to the most successful athletic team on campus. I understand football makes all the money and support football.
But you have to support baseball. Hopefully this administration will figure out what they need to do.

Two titles in three years. Yeah, the NIL and facilities are really hurting us. CJJ just doesn’t have enough to win, huh?

Proof LSU is in the middle of the pack in NIL? Prove it. This is what you think in your own mind not actual reality. LSU has one of the highest budgets in NCAA baseball.
The only facts here is you don't know what you're talking about.

NIL is fine. Rev Share needs to be adjusted though. Womens basketball should never get 5% of revenue.

Finally someone who understands there's a major distinctive difference between NIL and rev share. Some people on here bizarrely think they're connected and this is why Jay is upset. I seriously doubt NIL money is LSU's problem with Jay right now. I wouldn't even be shocked if Jay is doing this just to get players more money because he's that great of coach who actually cares about his players.

Money or not the support for the LSU baseball program is second to none.
We need to stop building this narrative that the program isn’t getting what they need to compete.
We won the National Championship 2 of the last 3 years.
Let’s stop complaining about the damn baseball program and get some of the actual money making teams back on track.
This in turn helps the baseball program get what they need.

Players DGAF whether their checks come from rev share or NIL….just that they’re paid.

believe it or not, women's basketball gets more eyeballs to your top programs then college baseball nationally

Post your data, don’t just talk about it.
2023 & 2025… the defending champs. It’s been 9 months since we won the trophy and you’re telling me we’re in the middle of the pack in the country and should be worried.
Some of y’all need to be beaten in the hands so you can’t start threads ever again.

Jay has been asking for some upgrades for five years now and there seems to be no updates.

For 5 years? Hard to demand upgrades before you won anything. I know after the 2023 championship, 3 years ago, he got them to move the bullpens.
What has been ignored?
What has been ignored?

He wants an indoor and upgrades to pitching lab.
And LSU could’ve used the revenue from the new club seats be put towards facilities.

Tell that to Nick Saban in 1999

How many schools have an indoor practice facility dedicated to only baseball?

Ignorance isn't so bad if people were willing to learn, but these dumb MFers love to revel in in it. It is like ignorance is a badge of honor.

What's your source on this? Because if this were true, we would not have just reeled in the best high school AND transfer classes in college baseball.

So are we having trouble adapting, or not? You're contradicting yourself big time.

A rising tide lifts all ships. Baseball, basketball, and football are in a better position, financially, now than they have been in quite sometime, possibly ever. Jay will be taken care of.
