Random thought about Heaven - how old are you up there?

When reunited with your loved ones, is everyone adult age? Are you a kid when interacting with parents/ grandparents and a teenager when seeing friends?
Are your pets puppies or adult age?

Animals don’t go to heaven

How will the widow or widower who gets remarried issue be handled? Does he get multiple wives in their prime up there?

Maybe, maybe not. I take the Billy Graham position on this:
“God will prepare everything for our perfect happiness in heaven, and if it takes my dog being there, I believe he'll be there”

How the hell would anyone know that who’s still alive?

Jesus in Matthew 22:30 actually answers this question.
“At the resurrection people will neither marry nor be given in marriage; they will be like the angels in heaven.”

I better be old as hell. I didn’t earn my old man yells at clouds reputation just to give it all away

Actually thought about this yesterday.
I lost my 3 year old daughter 2 months ago today
I'm 42.
If I live 30 more years, when I pass and get to see my daughter again, what will she look like? Will she still be 3 or 33?
Will I be 72 or 42 to her?
If she's 33, will I be able to see her somehow at different ages as she aged from 3 to 33?
I just really miss her

This has always bothered me. I don’t like the thought of eternity where my wife isn’t still my wife.

Prayers man, that is awfulness no parent should have to endure, I can't imagine. Keep your chin up and pray hard. I pray you have other children you can focus on to ease the missing.

I’ve thought about this in the past and feel like you will see your loved ones as you remember them or want to see them. We will appear differently to everyone.

You’re one of the lucky ones.

My 2 cents. The Bible says that God created time. As such, he is outside of time. He was before time, that's why nothing created God.
Our human brains can't comprehend that thought. So I think when we go to heaven, there will no longer be any concept of time. It's eternity. So we will recognize each other, but our bodies and spirits will be outside of time. Hence, no age.
*Note - This is strictly an opinion I have, formed based on early passages in the Bible.

Check out some NDE's on youtube. Apparently it's when people are at the prime of their life. (Late mid 20's-30's generally)

I lost a 8 mo. old daughter several years ago, our only child. I know the pain. She spent nearly her whole life in the NICU and the only thing that brought us joy during that time was being there with her. She is in heaven and her suffering is over. It brings us peace knowing that we’ll see her again one day and she’ll be perfectly healthy. Same goes for yours. God bless you brother.
Do you have other children? My wife and I have been incomplete since and we would have to go the surrogacy route if we were to ever have another child and we’ve been contemplating it heavily recently.

How do you recognize your loved ones?
Your body just rots in the ground or gets torched. You aren't taking it with you.
