I was at the MGM when he ended up fighting Conor and beat him the first time they fought and he came in late as the replacement for dos Anjos. The key cards all had dos Anjos and McGregor on them and the hotel never changed the cards
Was there for a bachelor party and he walked into Hakkasan at like 3:30. Dude absolutely had a concussion as he was walking around with no life in his eyes. He could barely acknowledge people who were congratulating him

Underrated: pre-Gatheje Tony Ferguson
Fought a ton of nobodies to pad his record, was a massive weight bully, should have lost to Gleison Tibau, and only fought championship level fighters 2-3 times, the quit to protect his record.

No one thinks Khabib wasn't great, but its impossible to not be overrated with the way he is held in esteem. The funniest part of Khabib worship is that Khabib fans will cry all night about Connor being overrated and then immediately turn around and point to that win over a washed up Connor as proof that Khabib is the greatest.

Wouldn't say Conor was totally washed up during their fight, but he Definatly want at his peak coming off a multi-year layoff from MMA.

The only bad loss he has is Spann.

Overrated:
BJ Penn- i get it, he was a savage at lightweight back in the day. But even at his peak he lost 3/4 from 05-06. He was still only 31 when he lost the belt to Edgar and started what is maybe the biggest fall off in UFC history. I get he was great in the early 2000s but the losses and the fall off are to big to ignore.
Magomed Ankalaev-fought a bunch of nobodies to stack his record. Fought a washed Jan to a draw. Considered a GOAT after he beat a hurt and sick Pereira. Knew he was going to get wrecked in the rematch and he did.
Uriah Faber-The GOAT of losing title matches. 7 to be exact.
Underrated:
Carlos Condit-WEC champ, started knocking out people in UFC when they absorbed WEC including Rory Mcdonald. Beat a prime Nick Diaz when he ran through strikeforce to the tune of 11 wins in a row which put a serious damper on his fight with GSP whom he came back to the UFC to beat. Had a solid showing against a prime GSP in the title match. And in my opinion he beat Lawler in their title fight but didnt get the decision. That fight was a war and he fell off after that. Used to love the natural born killer
Alexander Volkovski-i get he's the champ and one of the pound for pound greatest, but i still dont think he gets enough flowers. Dude has absolutely RAN the ufc featherweight division for almost 10 years now, and is still dominating contenders at 37 years old. He also, arguably beat the current lb for lb best fiighter on the planet Islam in their 1st fight. Super impressive what hes still doing at his age.
Junior Dos Santos-Guy is never mentioned when heavyweight GOATs are brought up. He's beaten Cain Velasquez, Derrick Lewis, Shane Carwin, Stipe Miocic, Mark Hunt, Frank Mir, Ben Rothwell, Fabricio Werdum, Gabriel Gonzaga, Roy Nelson, and Cro Cop all in their prime. That's an insane lineup
