That mid 2000s era of SEC basketball coaches is my favorite coaching era in anything ever

Now he just needs to hire Mark Gottfried, and John Brady of course

Stansbury will get you the best bigs in the region. Guys like Chris Cenac will start coming to LSU.

those guys will come due to the BRAND of the University right now... not just the basketball program.

the BRAND will continue to grow and it will effect people who normally wouldn't show up on campus, will now.

Great timing

Mitchell Robinson didn’t come the first time Wade was around. He followed Stansbury to Western Kentucky. Robert Williams didn’t join that greet class Johnny Jones assembled at LSU, he followed Stansbury to ATM instead.

Didn't Stansbury get a Top 25 recruiting class to Western Kentucky like 10 years ago? Guy can get players.

I didn't even know he was still working but he was at Memphis. Penny can't coach so who knows what players they may have there.

Stansbury is an odd add.

I'm waiting for the announcement of Tubby Smith and Kevin Stallings joining the staff too

I'm not worried about Wade putting together an efficient offense, although it's not my favorite style of play, it is efficient.

I hope Stansbury and other assistants will get our defense rolling and work on set plays/inbounding.

This portal period is going to be fun as shite. You know we're going to get some good players.

Stansbury is there to address the front line size issues we had during Wade’s first tenure and he will. He’s excellent at coaching bigs too. They won’t have much to do with schematics, Wade’s got both ends figured out now.

Nolan Richardson is 84 .His 40 minutes of hell perspective is the kind of defense we need.
I hated playing against him.
We need a defensive add to the staff

It’s never a bad thing to have two assistant coaches who, as head coaches brought their teams to a combined 12 NCAA tournaments over the course of their careers.
