What movie have you watched all the way through hoping it would get better but it didn’t?

About 90% of the big budget bland garbage that is straight to Netflix released.

It's a messy movie, but it holds a charm throughout

at least in my estimation

The Tom Hardy Netflix movie was pretty awful.

An amazing movie. It has elements of Chinatown, Once Upon A Time In Hollywood, and The Big Lebowski all rolled up into one gigantic pot cloud. My favorite PTA movie by far.

As for the question, I'm gonna go with Everything Everywhere All at Once. A total waste of time.

So bad. Couldn’t make it all the way through after 3 times trying.

Of recent ones, Happy Gilmore 2. Started out not that great, and just got progressively worse

Really? I chopped onions all the way through this one. Buckley earned every bit of that Oscar.

I couldn’t get through Poor Things. It just got grosser and grosser and lost me when Emma Stone showed her hoohah to a couple of boys.

Not to be confused with Hammett, which I also watched all the way through hoping it would get better but it didn’t

It's supposed to be an incoherent mess. You're not supposed to be able to follow the plot. It's basically a hangout/vibe film, like the Novel.

There are so many interested parties in the movie, all trying to exert influence in multiple areas, all while a very stoned Doc Sportello is trying to unravel several different mysteries at once in a weed-infused haze and avoid being used as a pawn in a dangerous game he barely understands. It's a detective noir film, it's a California '70s beach flick, it's a government conspiracy film, a hippie vs. LAPD movie, etc. All of the characters are interesting and motivated by disparate reasons. Is the next clue that Doc is chasing a red herring or something vitally important? It's also very funny. IMO, it's a masterful movie.

Sucker Punch. I've actually watched it more than once, hoping it would be good.

That movie is kinda twisted and disturbing seeing as it's basically about MK Ultra brainwashing, trauma-induced dissociative personality fragmentation, and Monarch mind control.
