Can we talk about Chris Blair?

This is the most nonchalant home run call that deserved 1000 pounds of emotion. It was the same thing the following inning when we busted the game open.
I’ll take an imperfect call with passion over a perfect call with no passion. What are we even doing?

I’ve spent some regular time around the guy. He’s not a high energy effervescent dude. His delivery is always muted and sometimes way late.

It’s not the just the low energy stuff. He’s always about 3-5 seconds behind every play. You can hear the ping of the bat and he waits 3-5 seconds to say foul ball or sharply hit to the SS or whatever. He’s difficult to follow.
