He had money, money wasn't the issue. They evaluated talent poorly but given the timeline they had its understandable. I do think we need to adjust the kind of players we are recruiting in the portal. Trying to build a team with all 15hr potential guys thats cant hit for average or play defense isn't working out well and not just for us.

Is this just a money thing? Seems the good players from last year also suck now. Something deeper went wrong with the offseason and early season prep.

I don’t think it’s a coincidence that his two worst seasons here have followed a national championship. I think deep post season runs like that necessarily take his attention away from recruiting, scouting, etc.

Worst take I’ve read. What are the real chances wade can win a natty? Compare that to the chance Jay has to win another.
How can we fund all the sports - the money comes from the same place. Plus 61M in buyouts. When it is diluted and wins aren’t coming donors are going to be so free with their money.
