He was fired cause he lied to Scott. Lying to your boss will always get you fired, whether you are an SEC coach or a janitor

He was liked. He was a good coach. But he lied to his boss.

Well… the guy he lied to is gone… and the people calling the shots now were not around when he lied. He did not lie to THEM…

So now we get to celebrate all that was good about him… and forget about the lying. For everyone’s sake, I hope he’s matured and wont lie again to his boss, but… NC state is saying he lied to them so…

Downvote Away! But yall know I speak truth…

He was fired because Scott didn’t like him and quite frankly didn’t care about LSU basketball. Scott wanted him gone and took advantage of the first chance he could do it.

The rest is just noise.

Scott not understanding plausible deniability is one of many reasons he’s no longer at LSU.

LOL, Scott was forced out and Wade is back. Scott can take his ridiculous contracts and shove them where the sun don’t shine. As for your self righteous routine? nobody cares, lol.

Exactly. Let's enjoy the return of tGeneral today. Can you imagine how sad you have to be to bring this up the day we celebrate WW's return and the end of the past four horrible years...

Woody and his henchmen Dellenger did the dirty work to fire Wade.

This is all factually true.

I don't blame Woodward, but I also don't blame Wade. His own AD (Alleva) railroaded him based off of articles just before that. He had every right to be paranoid.

This is all ridiculous and a lie lol.

Woodward got hired and reinstated a suspended Wade. The articles and investigations went on for 3 more years until he was finally fired when the formal NOA was issued.

He could have simply not reinstated him in 2019 if he wanted to fire him "at the first chance he had."

SW asked him about paying players when he was reinstating him. He had his back regardless of the answer.

Again, I don't blame Wade, but it is what it is.

I also couldn't be happier that he's back. Maybe my all time favorite coach, regardless of sport, regardless of level.

i wanted not to believe this for the longest time. but it really is evident this was the case. Wade being back at lsu is a good thing for the basketball program and for the first time in a long time we are excited for basketball again. Woodward used WW as a scapegoat with the ncaa investigation and tanked the bball program into oblivion.

That’s incorrect. Here’s the press release from LSU reinstating Wade. Alleva was still the AD, not Scott.

That’s right the investigation went on for 3 years, but the amended contract said he could be fired for cause if LSU were hit with L1 or L2 allegations. That happened in March 2022 and Woodward fired Wade within a week.

Nothing you say is credible because it was not Scott who reinstated Wade.

WW was reinstated on April 14 by Alleva. Scott was hired on April 23.

Wade’s violations were paying extortion money to a former players ex fiancé, failure to present an attitude of transparency and failing to cooperate with the investigation. What actually happened between those two was Woody asked him if “new” allegations would come up and that didn’t happen. If the “he lied” narrative came from Woody I’d be very skeptical of its authenticity.
