They were annoying and seemed completely delusional but…. They never wavered even when it looked like there was a less than 0% chance he would ever end back up at LSU. I admire it and im thrilled The General is back !!!! Geaux Tigahs

Rationality is for the birds. We knew Wade was the one that got away and we weren't gonna be quiet about it.

Yeah, we were so annoying with a realistic and very plausible way for Will Wade to return to LSU.

More annoy were the naysayers saying it will never happen.

Or most people are just retarded.
Like the people who had a huge meltdown on this website after firing kelly.

I was 100% wrong and never thought he would come back. I'm actually going to watch LSU basketball again.

It didn't matter if it was 5 years or 20. I was always going to want him back. Hope seemed lost at times, but I always thought he stayed close at McNeese for a reason

The only people who are shocked are the people who either weren't paying much attention of lack basic reasoning skills.
Since last summer virtually every move LSU was making was favorable to bring Wade back to LSU. Combine that with the fact that Wade is the only LSU coach in recent memory, maybe ever, who was fired from LSU AGAINST the wishes of the fanbase and donors, and anyone who was willing to look beyond the surface level of analysis could see this was possible. For example, you had many saying "LSU" would never rehire him or he would never consider "LSU" again without understanding that "LSU" in this context is not just a bunch of buildings south of downtown BR. It's the people in charge. So when the people in charge changed, so did "LSU". The "LSU" that fired Wade no longer existed. "LSU" now (i.e. the people in charge) wanted Wade back.

In this lifetime, you can tell when someone is all in. There was zero doubt he was totally invested when he was here. The farewell note he put out there this morning solidified what was rather obvious. Will Wade loves it down here. He clearly connected with the fan base in a way that you can’t fake.

Yup. Gave them a hard time for years. My hats off to you all.

For the first time in 4 years there is a belief LSU can compete. That come next March we will be talking about LSU's first round NCAA Tournament game, rather than the 200 excuses as to why LSU finished last in the SEC. For the first time in 4 years there will be reason to be excited about LSU basketball beyond mid-January
The signs were ALL there that Wade was coming back. Many (mostly non-basketball fans) simply did not want to see them.

The “I Will Wade for you” guys rocked the past 4 years.
