Does WW Keep Any Current Players?

The most likely options to stay (no I don't think we keep them all):
1) DJ Thomas - long shot but by far our best player
2) Mike Nwoko - tough and athletic. feels like WW player.
3) Robert Miller - Big and athletic
4)Jalen Reece - Seems to have some upside
oh and of course the greatest of them all:
5) Jalen Reed

I won't be disappointed in the slightest if he doesn't

He'll be on the phone with Thomas day 1 to try and keep him I think. Rest of roster may be gone.

Nothing against those guys, but I hope we keep 0. This program needs a 100% overhaul.

No thanks - clean house.

If you think the issue has been mostly the player talent, then you are correct. If you think it has been mostly the coach, then, if you hired a good coach, you keep the players worth keeping.
Players worth considering are Reece, Reed (if he is going to try again), DJ if you can woo him back, Robert Miller, if you think you can fix him, maybe Gilhool, no idea if he truly has talent, NWoko, if he is playing another year, Mosely looked like he had some real shooting skills.
It boils down to whether you can pick up better talent or players who fit your system better. Usually, it is easier to keep guys than to attract others.

Anybody from NC State that would follow? What about Arceneaux that was at Houston previously?

Whoever Wade wants, I want

Hasn’t even been officially hired and we got the FBI over here asking questions again….

Thomas is only true starter
Nwoko can stay if he wants to go back to being a role player.
Reed needs to go. Just too injury prone to put any eggs in his basket at the risk of not getting a big

I feel like Thomas, Nwoko, and Reece can all add value and contribute. With Nwoko and Reece coming off the bench.

I don't know if they'll follow, but Paul McNeil and Matt Able would be pretty big gets.

I don't think we've seen enough of any of the underclassmen to judge.
I don't think talent has been an issue so I doubt we see a Kiffin type processing of the roster.
Besides Mackinnon, many of the guys on the roster that didn't seem like SEC caliber players were upper classmen transfers who are out of eligibility.
A good coach would have gone a minimum 8-10 with this roster even with the Reed and Thomas injuries.

He will try like hell to keep Thomas, convince him that T Waters got the ball rolling for him the first time as one of the best PG in the SEC.
If he doesn’t it won’t be because of not trying, one thing WW can do is relate to today’s players. Besides he was a pioneer in NIL(nothing is legal).
After all he’s an original OG, I heard that on the infamous wire tap.

Wade is an amazing recruiter and evaluator of talent, he will keep who is able to adapt to his schemes, otherwise, it may be a completely new roster by the time he is done.

I feel like some sort of an effort should be made to retain Thomas. Dude is a baller, it would be like Wade getting Waters to flip when he was first hired
