I wish Skenes would refuse to play. The Pirates are and have been an absolute joke throughout the last 30 years.

Fangraphs projection likes them more than PECOTA does. Will see but they are in the crab bucket of teams who can probably get 83 to 85 wins and be the 3rd wild card team in

They finally made a bunch of moves to actually score some runs. If you look at their lineup then imagine Griffin in there at some point (and the hype is real), you can see them being in the hunt for a WC spot

It's not out the realm for them to get a WC spot and the playoffs are a crapshoot, so sure, why not? Opening Day is for optimism

how many Pirates game have you been to lately? I was working there and went at least a dozen and they were competitive in almost all, including a win vs the Yankees.
Great stadium, tradition and young rotation. Skenes refusing to play? What an IDIOTIC statement.
