Let’s assume whoever we pick likely won’t start this year ahead of Ruiz, but could be seen as a replacement in the future at center or for Ruiz. Is rd 3 too early for someone who won’t likely have an immediate impact this year?

R3 is as early as I would go for G/C.

Any round is good for a guy they see as a starting RG. Maybe if prospects 6, 7 and UDFAs I guess.

I don't know but we need one. Even with the free agent signing. I want a dominant offensive line. And Ruiz is the only thing holding it back. But I bet we could find one in the third

Depends on how board falls and what’s available because if Top targets are gone by 8, one of the elite Gs would make sense

I think there could be some good center options in the 4th… and I’d hate to use our 3rd on a player not likely to be a significant contributor this year… when we could use another WR, edge or corner in the 3rd

ID SAY 5TH OR LATER, UNLESS HECHT FALLS. WR EDGE NICKELSTAR SHOULD BE THE ORDER.

KEEP AN EYE ON JACAS, SUTTON, STUKES, & SCOTT

I don’t think it’s crazy to think that the right guy falling to 2-3rd would start over Ruiz day 1

I'm not saying to make a high draft pick on a center/guard but between the the draft and free agency we are gonna have to find a quality player just because of injuries and Ruiz. We lost Luke Fortner who filled in at both positions adequately. We have to run the ball better to take the next step offensively.

3rd for sure. Could get a starter at that spot. I don't know the name, but they have a G at GT that's really good that may be available at the Saints spot in the 3rd.

Would take Dunker or Rutledge in the 3rd. They can sit a year and take Ruiz spot next year.

If both are gone, I’d wait till the 4th.

Jalen Farmer might be another player to watch out for at guard.
