Nevermind, we've never been to Louisiana lagniappe and I see that thread right there. Food board comes through without even realizing it.

I suggest getting your reservation at least three weeks out.

Went on Saturday for the first time in 13 years. Still as good as before, although they no longer do souffles. Too much hassle.

It's a bummer but it's just the two of them running it now. The other dishes are still as solid as ever v

When they quit doing the John's Special, and then the soufflés, we were certainly disappointed. Two of our all time favorites.

I got the duck and my wife got the lamb, both were delicious and the portion sizes...we'd be lucky to get half of what they fed us, in Paris.

Beausoliel or French Market Bistro if you are talking about Baton Rouge.

1) Two Hendricks Martinis
2) Order some sort of high end main dishes to share along with a bottle of wine that pairs with the food.
3) Order dessert and some sparkling wine.
4) Go home and boogie
