Gold hat could really only work with white or gray IMO, but even then it would probably still look weird.

What is it with all of these so-called fans who keep wanting to change our proud uniforms of our proud programs? A lot of blood, sweat and tears went into making those uniforms mean something.

It doesn’t look as bad as I thought … I could see it working with the purple jerseys and grey or white pants, but I’m still not in love with it. Why fix or tweak something that isn’t broken?

A thousand times NO.
Texas wears those sissy looking white baseball caps and they apparently are oblivious to how stupid it looks -- like they have an ice cream cone on their heads or something. It's their trademark.
The only yellow combination that might work, I think, is something like this with the gold jerseys?

They wore them last year for practice during the regionals. Looked terrible and wouldn’t go with any uni.
