I can't say that I disagree but getting some of these decision makers and money donors to understand that being a sports alum doesn't guarantee that they're a good coach doesn't work. Most often they don't end up being the next Steve Spurrier but I guess that's the risk/reward you take with anyone.

Remember watching that 6 OT game against UCONN at Jimmagan's in Myrtle Beach. The game started a little after 9:00 and ended about half an hour before last call

The Syracuse program is pretty much dead. Might as well bring in a guy the fan base has a soft spot for to bring some juice into the program.

Easy great hire. Incredible job at Siena who won 4 games the year before he took over. One half assed player from beating Duke and having Scheyer say you out coached him, yeah easy call.
